Today, we went to the Travel and Leisure Show at the Cruise Terminal in Dover. It’s turned into a yearly event, but this year we had an extra person to take with us. When we got there, we parked next to this old fella, who took his time getting his jacket on and prevented us getting Mikey out of his car seat. In the end, I had to get back into the car and back it up so we could open his door. The show itself was packed as always, though there weren’t as many cruise companies exhibiting this year (not that we are going to be going on any more cruises for a few years yet). We were most interested in looking at the local events going on this year so we have some things to do as a family. Places like The Hop Farm, Bedgebury Pinetum, Dickens World and Chatham Historic Dockyard were all there and we picked up a multitude of brochures from there (some of which are already getting out of date, but it gives us ideas).
